Boxers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club won 2 medals at the World Cup among oil countries held in the Russian city of Yugorsk.

One of our representatives, Malik Hasanov (67 kg), defeated all his rivals and rose to the highest step of the podium. He defeated Enkhtor Tegshjargali (Mongolia) in the final. Our other boxer, Ali Miriyev (60 kg), was awarded the bronze medal.

It should be noted that athletes from 15 countries competed in the tournament.
