The Azerbaijan Championship among junior boxers (U-17) has concluded. 459 boxers from 82 teams representing clubs from various cities and regions of the country, as well as sports societies, tested their strength in the competition organized at the Boxing Center and lasting seven days.

The boxers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club fought with determination and finished the tournament with 11 medals (4 gold, 4 silver, 3 bronze), and our club took first place in the team score. Our athletes Aydan Ismayilli (48 kg), Yusif Hasanli (66 kg), Shukar Aliyev (75 kg) and Mehran Rasulov (+80 kg) won all their fights and experienced the joy of becoming the national champion. Eljan Musazade (52 kg), Ali Jamalaov (57 kg), Yusif Agakishiyev (75 kg), Ziraddin Rustamli (80 kg) won silver medals, while Islam Ibrahimov (46 kg), Nurlan Museyibli (70 kg) and Ali Mammadli (80 kg) won bronze medals.

It should be noted that the best boxer of the competition was awarded to Shukar Aliyev, a representative of the “Neftchi” Sports Club.
