An international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament was held in Novosibirsk, Russia. More than 200 athletes from 10 countries participated in the competition organized in memory of the Hero of the USSR Alexander Aksyonov.
Representatives of the “Neftchi” Sports Club won 2 medals at the memorial. One of our wrestlers, Rashad Mammadov (55 kg), defeated all his rivals and climbed to the highest step of the podium. Mahammad Ahmadiyev (97 kg) finished the tournament in third place.
