The U-17 (under 17) regional judo championship for the Northern region was held. A total of 63 judokas (57 boys, 6 girls) from 7 clubs, including Gusar, Guba, Khachmaz, Shabran, and Siyazan, competed for medals. The tournament, held at the Khachmaz Olympic Sports Complex, saw winners and medalists determined in 7 weight categories.

From the “Neftchi” Sports Club’s Siyazan branch, Mirmehdi Ismailov (50 kg), Turan Aghamoghlanov (66 kg), and Ali Aliyev (73 kg) won all their matches and climbed to the top of the podium. Shahlar Jumshudov (50 kg) and Ravan Ashumov (66 kg) settled for silver medals after losing only in the final. Binyat Alifov (55 kg) and Nicat Akhundzada (66 kg) completed the competition in third place.
