The National Shooting Cup dedicated to the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, held at the Baku Shooting Center under the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation, finished.
The graduates of the “Neftchi” Sports Club successfully performed in the competition. One of our shooters, Vladislav Kalmykov, took third place in the men’s 10-meter air pistol shooting (PTCH-3), scoring 569 points. Our athlete also scored the same number of points in the youth competition in the same category and won a gold medal. Imran Garayev (566 points) was awarded a bronze medal. Vladislav Kalmykov again became the winner in the mixed team competition (MIX, PTC-3). Our other shooter, Elvin Astanov, won the title of winner in the 50-meter open competition (KCHTC-4) with 536 points.
