September 27 is Remembrance Day in Azerbaijan. For the fifth year now, September 27 has been celebrated as Remembrance Day in our country.
Established by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020, Remembrance Day is an expression of deep respect for all our martyrs, our soldiers and officers who fought heroically in the Patriotic War and gave their lives for the territorial integrity of our country.
Today, our people commemorate with deep respect and reverence the dear memory of all our martyrs who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and prayers are said for their souls.
It should be noted that today at 12:00, the dear memory of the martyrs will be commemorated with a minute of silence throughout the country.
