The SOCAR mini-football team, which previously won the 4th Mini-Football Tournament among State Institutions dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA), and the Azerbaijan Mini-Football Federation, achieved a historic success at the III World Corporate Games, held in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco, from June 5 to 7, 2026.

In the final match, played on June 7, the SOCAR team displayed great determination and secured a magnificent 1–0 victory over “Le Matin”, a team representing one of Morocco’s largest media organizations in a country widely recognized for its football tradition.

With this historic achievement, SOCAR became not only the first Azerbaijani team to win the World Corporate Games title in mini-football, but also the first Azerbaijani team to lift the trophy after completing the tournament undefeated.

It is worth noting that SOCAR won every match on its way to the final. Competing in a tournament featuring 52 teams, SOCAR recorded victories over EM ENERGIE (4–0), Crédit Agricole (6–3), CMS (5–2), Rostec (4–1), STELLANTIS KENITRA 1 (1–0), and NEWREST (3–1) in the semi-finals.
