Today, with the support of SOCAR, the “Neftchi” Sports Club and the Social Development Department, the draw ceremony of the SOCAR-2025 mini-football tournament dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” among employees of oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises was held. At the event, which was organized in the administrative building of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, the head of the organization’s Administrative Office, Sadig Sadigov, first greeted the participants of the ceremony, wished them all the best, and wished them success in future competitions. Then, he provided the participants with extensive information about the rules of the tournament.
Then, the sections of the Regulations of the competition were discussed with the active participation of the sports instructors of the enterprises, and their suggestions and opinions were listened to.
Finally, the draw of the tournament was held. According to the results of the draw, 28 teams will compete in 7 groups, 4 in each.
The SOCAR-2025 mini-football tournament dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty” will last from August 9 to September 21. The games will be held every Saturday and Sunday at the indoor fields of the Baku Olympic Stadium.
