With the support of SOCAR, and jointly organized by the “Neftchi” Sports Club, the Social Development Department, and the Republic Committee of the Azerbaijan Oil and Gas Industry Workers’ Trade Union, the SOCAR-2025 mini-football tournament dedicated to the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” which started on August 9, is nearing its conclusion. The competition, held among the employees of the oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises, is taking place at the indoor gym of the Baku Olympic Stadium. Today, the semi-final matches were held.

Both matches were intense and competitive. “Balakhani” Operating Company faced off against the “Neftgastikinti” Trust team. “Balakhani” Operating Company triumphed with a 5-1 score, securing their place in the final. The “Azneft” Production Union’s team defeated the “SOCAR Polymer” Plant team with a 7-1 victory and advanced to the final as well.

Thus, in the decisive final match on September 21, the teams of “Balakhani” Operating Company and “Azneft” Production Union will face each other. The teams of “Neftgastikinti” Trust and “SOCAR Polymer” Plant will compete for third place.
