Today, the fencing competitions at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, concluded. On the last day of the competition, the winners of the women’s sabre team competition were determined. Our team, consisting of Zarifa Huseynova, Sabina Karimova and Palina Kaspiarovich, defeated the Turkish national team with a score of 45:32 in the semifinals, and defeated the Uzbekistan national team with a score of 45:43 in the tense final match and won the gold medal.

It should be noted that Zarifa Huseynova and Sabina Karimova represent the “Neftchi” Sports Club.
