Representatives of “Neftchi” Sports Club achieved great success in the Azerbaijan Championship in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling held at the Baku Sports Palace. Thus, our athletes, who demonstrated perseverance in the competition, won 49 medals of the championship (15 gold, 12 silver, 22 bronze). Our Greco-Roman wrestlers won 27 (9 gold, 7 silver, 11 bronze), and our freestyle wrestlers won 22 medals (6 gold, 5 silver, 11 bronze).

It should be noted that both Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestlers of our club became the winners of the Azerbaijan Championship in the overall team score.
