The World Wrestling Championship held in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, has concluded.
Representatives of “Neftchi” Sports Club demonstrated great determination and won 7 medals (1 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze) of the world championship.
One of our wrestlers, Ulvu Ganizade (72 kg), won the title of world champion. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) and Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) were awarded silver medals of the prestigious competition. Our other athletes – Eldeniz Azizli (55 kg), Nuraddin Novruzov (61 kg), Arseniy Dzhioyev (86 kg) and Murad Ahmadiyev (97 kg) took the third place.
