Another wrestler from the “Neftchi” Sports Club was among the medalists at the III Universiade of the Turkic States held in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyzstan. Our freestyle wrestler Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) confidently defeated all his rivals and climbed to the highest step of the podium.
It should be noted that previously our club’s freestyle wrestler Ramik Heybatov (74 kg) and Greco-Roman wrestler Javad Mammadov (77 kg) were awarded bronze medals in the competition.
