Zelym Tckaev (81 kg), a judoka of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won a bronze medal at the world championship held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Our athlete defeated the representative of the UAE, Nugzari Tatalashvili, in the match for third place.
It should be noted that this is the first medal won by Azerbaijan at the world championship.
