The billiard competition among employees of oil, gas and chemical industry enterprises, jointly organized by the “Neftchi” Sports Club and the Social Development Department, has ended. 30 participants (5 women, 25 men) in 15 teams competed for the title of winner.
Among women, Ilaha Hajiyeva (“SOCAR Polymer” Plant) surpassed all her rivals. Laman Niyazli (“Azerkimya” Production Association) won silver, and Fatima Guliyeva (“Gas Export” Department) won bronze.
In the men’s competition, Araz Soltanov, a representative of the Carbamide Plant, won a gold medal. Togrul Nasirov (“SOCAR Polymer” Plant) took second place, and Togrul Mammadov (Gas Processing Plant) took third place.
The winners and prize-winners of the tournament were presented with diplomas, medals and souvenirs from the “Neftchi” Sports Club.
