The European Sambo Championships for Men were held in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Representatives of “Neftchi” Sports Club won a total of two medals at the competition.

Among our athletes, Adil Adilzade (88 kg) advanced all the way to the final and claimed a silver medal, suffering his only defeat in the championship match. Meanwhile, Sahib Babayev (58 kg) finished the continental championship in third place, earning a bronze medal.
