The “Olympic Hopes” international boxing tournament was held in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Azerbaijani national team competed in two age categories (U-17 and U-19).

Among the representatives of Neftchi Sports Club included in the national team, Safter Mammadzadeh (+90 kg) competed in the U-19 boys’ division and defeated all of his opponents to win the gold medal.

In the U-17 girls’ category, Aydan Ismayilli (48 kg) reached the final but was defeated, finishing the competition with a silver medal.
