Ayxan Hasanli (81 kg), a representative of “Neftchi” Sports Club, achieved a major success at the World Judo Championships among cadets, held in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

On his way to the final, our athlete defeated representatives of Costa Rica, Kuwait, Colombia, Armenia and Japan. In the decisive bout, he lost to Russia’s Daniyal Biybolatov and won the silver medal at the World Championships.
