The World Championships in Kazakh Wrestling have concluded in Baku.

The competition, held at the Baku Sports Palace, determined winners in a total of 16 weight categories among men and women.

Representatives of “Neftchi” Sports Club, competing as part of the Azerbaijan national team, performed successfully at the championship, winning two medals. Tuncay Shamil, competing in the 100 kg weight category, defeated all of his opponents to become world champion.

Another representative of the club, Mahammad Mammadzade (+100 kg), claimed the bronze medal, finishing third on the podium.
