The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced the ranking of Azerbaijani athletes for September 2026.

All three athletes in the top three, as well as eight of those in the top ten, represent “Neftçi” Sports Club. Greco-Roman wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (480 points) has once again retained his position at the top of the ranking. Freestyle wrestler Giorgi Meshvildishvili (460 points) is second, while fellow freestyle wrestler Arseniy Dzhioyev (420 points) occupies third place. The remaining positions were taken by Saidjamshid Jafarov (boxing, 400 points) in fourth place, Murad Ahmadıyev (Greco-Roman wrestling, 330 points) in fifth, Ulvu Ganizade (Greco-Roman wrestling, 300 points) in seventh, Nuraddin Novruzov (freestyle wrestling, 270 points) in eighth, and Hidayat Heydarov (judo, 270 points) in ninth.
