The European Judo Championship kicked off today in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.
Ahmed Yusifov (60 kg), a judoka representing the Azerbaijani national team from the Neftchi Sports Club, won a bronze medal on the first day of the competition. He defeated his teammate and another athlete from our club, Balabey Agayev, in the match for third place.
It should be noted that the European Championship will conclude on April 19.
