The wrestlers (U-17) of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, who performed as part of the Azerbaijani national team, won 8 medals at the “Victory Cup” held in Antalya, Turkey, which was attended by 600 athletes.
Our freestyle wrestlers Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) and Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) became the winner of the tournament. Our club’s Greco-Roman wrestlers Gurban Majnunov (55 kg), Ali Mammadov (71 kg) and Mahammad Mustafazadeh (110 kg) repeated the same success and won gold medals. Huseyn Mustafazadeh (51 kg) came in second, and Ilkin Gurbanov (51 kg) and Isfahan Hasanov (80 kg) came in third.
