Imamaddin Khalilov, a para-taekwondo athlete representing the Neftchi Sports Club, has earned a silver medal at the European Championships held in Munich, Germany. Competing in the K44 category (70 kg), the Paralympian secured second place on the podium.
In the final match, Khalilov faced Yusuf Yünaçtı of Türkiye, ultimately finishing as the runner-up.
It should be noted that another Azerbaijani para-taekwondo athlete, Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg), also claimed a silver medal earlier in the competition.
