The final match of the Azerbaijan Futsal Cup took place today. In the decisive encounter, “Neftchi”, the silver medalist of the High League season, faced the reigning champion “Araz-Nakhchivan”. The match, held at the Baku Sports Palace and marked by intense competition, ended with a 5–3 victory for our team, allowing “Neftchi” to claim the Azerbaijan Cup title for the eighth time in its history.

In addition, Markus Vinicius, a player of “Neftchi”, was named “Best Futsal Player of the Match.”

Following the final, an award ceremony was held. During the event, Markus Vinicius received a commemorative gift, the members of “Neftchi” were awarded gold medals, and the Azerbaijan Cup trophy was presented to the team.

It should be noted that this was the 30th edition of the Azerbaijan Cup held to date. Throughout the tournament’s history, “Neftchi” has been the most successful club, having won the trophy eight times — in the 1994/1995, 1995/1996, 2009/2010, 2012/2013, 2013/2014, 2016/2017, 2021/2022, and 2025/2026 seasons.
