The second round of the U-17 Judo League has come to an end. A total of 614 judokas (494 boys and 120 girls) representing 100 clubs and sports societies competed for medals at the event held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

Among the athletes of “Neftchi” Sports Club, Ulvi Jalilzade (50 kg) and Maleyka Mursaliyeva (52 kg) defeated all of their opponents and climbed to the top step of the podium.

Among our other judokas, Hasan Ibadov (66 kg) won a silver medal, while Ravan Abushzade (55 kg), Nihad Malikli (+90 kg) and Sema Valizada (63 kg) were awarded bronze medals.
