The Baku Athletics Championship has concluded, with athletes from “Neftchi” Sports Club winning a total of 9 medals (7 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze).

Among our athletes, Islam Gahramanzade claimed gold in the javelin throw with a result of 48.07 meters. Lamiya Valiyeva won two gold medals in the 100 meters (12.07 seconds) and 200 meters (24.25 seconds) events. Bulbul Babayev also secured gold in the high jump with a clearance of 1.85 meters.

Ismail Aliyev finished first in both the shot put (17.24 meters) and discus throw (50.17 meters) events. Lala Jeniyeva earned a gold medal in the women’s discus throw (40.95 meters) and a bronze medal in the hammer throw (25.35 meters). Meanwhile, Nazim Babayev claimed the silver medal in the long jump with a result of 7.22 meters.
