Peak In commemoration of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a traditional trek to the Heydar Aliyev Peak, located in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, has been organized. The event was conducted by the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Participants of the expedition ascended to the Heydar Aliyev Peak, situated on the Gizilgaya ridge near the Khinalig village of the Guba district, reaching an altitude of 3,751 meters above sea level.
Elchin Chobanzade, representing the “Neftchi” Sports Club, also participated in the trek.
