The U-17 European Beach Wrestling Championship was held in Poreč, Croatia.

Representing Neftchi Sports Club, athlete Ruslan Valiyev, competing in the 80 kg category in Group C, recorded a series of strong victories. He defeated Georgia’s Luka Maysuradze (3–0), Croatia’s Emanuel Grgić (3–0), and Ukraine’s Dmytro Holovenko (4–0), advancing to the final.

In the decisive match, he faced his teammate Elvin Hajiquliyev, whom he defeated 3–0, securing the gold medal and becoming the European champion of the tournament.
