The “Heydar Aliyev Cup 2026” International Tournament among junior boxers, held in Baku, has come to an end. Organized at the Baku Boxing Center, the competition brought together 185 athletes from 8 countries.

Boxers representing Neftchi Sports Club delivered an impressive performance, winning a total of 9 medals (4 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze).

Among our male athletes, Rustam Nasibov (50 kg), Yusif Agakishiyev (75 kg), and Shukar Aliyev (80 kg) remained undefeated throughout the tournament to claim the gold medals. Ilham Mamiyev (44 kg) and Ali Jamalzade (57 kg), who were defeated only in the decisive final bouts, secured silver medals. Eljan Musazade (54 kg) and Mehran Rasulov (+80 kg) finished the tournament with bronze medals.

Among our female athletes, Aydan Ismayilli (48 kg) also remained unbeaten and was crowned champion, while Narmin Abdulzade (54 kg) earned a bronze medal by finishing in third place.
