The Baku City Shooting Championship was held. The competition, which took place at the Baku Shooting Center, was jointly organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation. About 100 athletes in various age categories took part in the competitions.

In the 10-meter shooting competition (PTC-3), Elvin Astanov (568 points), took the first place, and Imran Garayev (558 points) took the second place.In the mixed team competition (PTC-3M), the pair of Leyli Aliyeva and Elvin Astanov (569 points) won a silver medal. The pair of Medina Zakareyeva-Imran Garayev (552 points) took third place.

In the 50-meter shooting competition (KCTC-4), Elvin Astanov (537 points) was awarded a silver medal.
