The traditional “Batumi Open 2026” international taekwondo tournament was held in Batumi, Georgia. Hundreds of athletes from different countries tested their strength in the children, teenagers, youth and adult categories. Taekwondo athletes of the “Neftchi” Sports Club were awarded 3 medals in the competition organized among teenagers. Our athletes Esmanur Azayeva (47 kg) and Umid Shahbazov (41 kg) won silver medals, losing only in the decisive final match. Our other representative Ahmad Murvetov (33 kg) finished the tournament in third place.
