The European Championships in sambo for cadets and juniors, which began on April 19 in Novi Sad, Serbia, have concluded.

During the six-day tournament, representatives of Neftçi PFK won two medals in the junior category.

Our sambo athlete Tuncay Shamil (98 kg) defeated all of his opponents and claimed the title of European Champion. Another athlete, Hacıbaba Imamaliyev (+98 kg), secured third place and earned a bronze medal.
